A 70-year-old Colombian woman was apprehended in a Costa del Este supermarket yesterday for her alleged involvement in a $150,000 jewelry heist.
She worked as a domestic employee in a home from which she stole the jewelry. When she didn’t show up to work the following day, her employers realized the items were missing, La Critica Reports.
Incidentally, domestic employee insurgency was portrayed in the recently released and successful Chance movie, directed by Panamanian director Abner Benaim.
