A large explosion rocked the 21st floor of the White Building on Balboa Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters are investigating, but initial reports indicate that the explosion occurred during the installation of a gas water heater.
Six people were injured, three with third degree burns, and police shut down traffic on Balboa Avenue, covered with shattered glass and aluminum frames, below.
