There was a 5.4-magnitude earthquake late Saturday night, the latest in a series that has shaken Panama in the last few weeks.
The Institute of Geosciences at the University of Panama reported the quake at 11:45 pm local time at a depth of 6.8 miles in the Chagres National Park, about 30 miles northeast of Chepo. It was felt in the provinces of Panama and Colon, as well as Arraijan.
No structural damages or injuries were reported.
