There were 248 murders in Panama between January and April of this year. A Ministry of Security release details that the homicides breakdown as follows: 71 in January, 58 in February , 70 in March and 49 in April. Quintin Earl Sponagle, a Canadian citizen charged with defrauding 179 investors of $4 million dollars, was arrested in Panama on Wednesday.
